When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.
I have it on very good authority that the most fantastical thing to occur on this week’s Days of our Lives — yes, even more so than the goings on Heaven/Purgatory/Asgard/Narnia/Where have you — was EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) snagging a reservation at The Bistro on Valentine’s Day.
Speaking of, though I did get a kick of the ridiculousness that was EJ and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty) dueling dinner date, I couldn’t help but wish that it had been a tad more farcical and gone on for much longer. Those few scenes did little more than whet my appetite.
* Dang Jennifer Rose (Cady McClain)! You scary when you want to be! Also, loath as I usually am for characters –especially the female ones — to resort to physical violence during confrontations, I really wouldn’t have minded Jennifer walloping Gwen (Emily O’Brien) good and proper. Lord knows the schemer has it coming, and Abigail’s (Marci Miller) no longer around to dish a smack or two out.
* I just adore Anna (Leann Hunley). That is all.
* Good News: Will (Chandler Massey) learns that Sonny (Zach Tinker) and Arianna Grace will be joining him in New Zealand…. Bad News: Allie (Lindsay Arnold) invites herself and her toddler son along for the adventure.
* Irony of Ironies: Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is betrayed by the one cell phone that he should have silenced — his own!
* Lucas, Lucas, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Leave it to an alcoholic to deliver such a piss-poor drunk man routine. Is it any wonder that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) wasn’t sold?
* You know, at this point I’m kind of rooting for Gabi/Li rather than Gabi/Stefan. Am I alone in this?
