We here at Soap Hub are never shy when it comes to playing armchair headwriter – look no further than our near weekly “Wild Speculation” articles for proof – and with 2024 fast approaching, a few of us couldn’t help but theorize what might be on the story horizon.
We were equally curious to see what you’d most like to happen to, or suspect is in store for your favorite — and perhaps least favorite — Days of our Lives characters. To all those who participated, I sincerely thank you.
Below you’ll find a roundup of predictions/wishes submitted by fans and Soap Hub staff alike, including yours truly. Happy reading.

A Critic’s Predictions For Days of our Lives
Everett’s (Blake Berris) decision to bring Leo (Greg Rikaart) back aboard The Spectator backfires spectacularly when his scheming underling proves to be the one who outs his connection to both Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jada (Elia Cantu). Speaking of Stephanie and Jada, both will find themselves with child come the New Year. But while Jada will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Rafe (Galen Gering) is her baby’s father, Stephanie won’t be so sure who sired hers.
* It’s Tripp (Lucas Adams) and not top cop Harris (Steve Burton) who uncovers Ava’s (Tamara Braun) part in the dissemination of Clyde’s tainted drugs. * Finally clued in on Stefan’s (Brandon Barsh) plight, Chad (Billy Flynn) taps into his darker DiMera impulses and arranges for Clyde’s assassination. In his mind, it’s long overdue justice being served. But when Abigail reappears, Chad will be forced to reconcile his actions.
Despite his exoneration, Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) will emerge from Statesville jaded and determined to revenge himself on those responsible for his plight, namely EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). * Though he’ll remain an amnesiac, Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) battle with thyroid cancer will spur Abe (Jame Reynolds) to recommit to her fully as a husband and life partner.
