Just when Days Of Our Lives fans had resigned themselves to Kristen losing her Nicole mask and deciding to pretend to be Susan, instead — though both versions involved coming onto Brady — the real Susan showed up in Salem.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) was more than a wee bit confused when Susan (Stacey Haiduk) claimed to have no idea what Brady was talking about when he recalled her trying to pull off his towel and shove her tongue down his throat.
Will (Chandler Massey) suggested Susan was in denial due to embarrassment. Sonny (Freddie Smith) nodded thoughtfully.
How long will it take them to figure out that there are two “Susans” running around town? And are fans happy to see the real thing? What almost 6,000 viewers voted:
A Sight For Sore Eyes!
Yay, Susan, 54% of you cheer! Sure, she brought Will back from the dead, kidnapped him, and kept him away from his loved ones — while letting them mourn his passing — for several years. But she’s funny!
Very few folks in Salem are actually funny. Susan is good for a chuckle. And, this time, she may actually help bring down Kristen (also Stacey Haiduk). And bringing down Kristen means no more Eric (Greg Vaughn) mooning over Nicole (Arianne Zucker). It’s a win-win!
Look Away
Not Susan again, an almost equal 46% of the audience groans. Susan is good in small doses. Very, very small doses. You may have forgiven her for EJ, you may have forgiven her for Will, you may have even forgiven her for making up with Sami (Allison Sweeney).
But you do not forgive her for screeching and caterwauling and acting like she is all that, when she is nothing but a babbling fool who thought Elvis impregnated her decades after his death. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
