It’s an emotional time for Christopher Sean as his last episode as Paul aired Tuesday on Days of Our Lives.

The actor took to Instagram to mark the occasion with a last image and heartfelt words about what playing Paul has meant to him over these last several years.

“‪It’s been an amazing 4 years with @nbcdays 🙂 I am so honored to have the opportunity to bring Paul Narita to life, a Japanese American Gay Professional Baseball Player. An ally to LGBTQ and Just as important an ambassador for Diversity.

“Representation is so important because we all have an equal place and we all are an important resource to America’s history, not one more important than the other. Change comes when we understand that.”

The humble actor went on to thank those he feels were responsible for taking a chance on him. He also wanted to thank some other very important people.

“To all the cast and crew on DAYS, my extended family, thank you! I’ve grown so much with you and created such wonderful memories. To the fans, none of this would be possible without you. All my love and thanks.”

But that wasn’t all. He also made it clear he was open to the possibility that he might bring Paul back to Salem one day.

“My final farewell on DAYS… whoa. I will miss you all, my home, my beginning. Until Next Time.”

The beloved actor has certainly kept busy since wrapping up his run on the show six months ago.

He stars in the animated series, Star Wars Resistance and has shot the TV movie, No Place Like Home with former DAYS co-stars Stacy Haiduk (ex-Susan/Kristen) and John-Paul Lavoisier (ex-Philip).

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
