With Jordan making a Salem return in 2019, Soap Hub talked to Chrishell Hartley to get a sneak peek at being back on Days of Our Lives!

Hartley’s been back to work for a while now and a lot has changed in Salem, so we had to know how it felt to return to the show she left back in 2015.

“It was great! There are so many of the same friendly faces, and I was just excited to reconnect with the cast and crew,” she enthused.

This time, Jordan’s brother Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is trying to redeem himself after killing a few people in town. Did this attempt at redemption surprise the soap veteran?

“Of course not. I have been doing this for a while now,” laughed the actress.

That’s a great attitude to have in Salem, where people can’t seem to stay dead and the impossible seems to happen quite often. But in a way — thank goodness it does because seeing Jordan and Ben reunited will be a thrill for fans. But, how was it reuniting as actors?

“I really love working with Rob. He is such a giving scene partner, and he really cares about the work, which is apparent. I truly feel a sisterly bond with him when we are together.”

While the stunning actress wasn’t able to reveal what’s coming for Jordan, we can’t help but hope that Jordan will reconnect with former love, Rafe (Galen Gering), who just happens to be married to Hope now. Stay tuned to find out.

In the meantime, DAYS isn’t the only thing on her plate these days. In addition to the movie Another Time, in which she co-stars with husband Justin Hartley (ex-Adam, The Young and the Restless), she has some other projects in the pipeline.

“I have something special I worked on with Justin that will be revealed on November 11. And I also have a show premiering in the spring that is unlike any other project I have ever done. Unfortunately, it is too early to tell you too much because I have to wait until they announce it.

“A movie I shot for Lifetime called My Little Girl Is Gone is on demand and am currently shooting a similar project in New York right now. I begin airing on DAYS in February and am needing to learn those lines on the plane ride back to LA. It’s been a little crazy!”

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
