A Jealous Husband
Chad fumes upon seeing Dario out with his family.
“But he’s not so forward about it, this time,” shares Miller, making note of the last time Chad found the twosome together and he and Dario got into a tiff.
“There’s a lot of unspoken going on,” says Miller. “The subtext of what Chad does and say insinuates some of that. It’s like, ‘What’s going on here, Abby? What’s the deal?’ Chad’s a little bit more controlled. He’s trying to give Abby her space and let her do her thing.”
No Second Thoughts
While Abigail clearly recognizes her husband is jealous, it doesn’t influence the decision she made to break things off with him. Nor does it give her renewed hope that could reconcile and live happily ever after any time soon.
“Not at this point,” stresses Miller. “Abby really is trying to move on and make a clean break of things.

“For her, Chad’s constant back and forth between her and Gabi (Camila Banus) with zero certainty either way was really hard on her. It wore her out. She made this decision [to split from Chad] and she’s sticking to it.”
Waiting to Be Convinced
Miller believes her character’s motives are selfless.
“Abby has done this because she feels it’s the best decision for Chad,” says the actress. “There’s a part of her that’s concerned that Chad is pursuing now for her sake, where maybe it’s not exactly what he really wants. She’s not buying that Chad all of a sudden has that much clarity about who he wants to be with.”
Until Abigail is absolutely convinced, she’s perfectly content living her life alone.
