On January 11, watch Carrie Brady Reed swing back into Salem to help her mother–a character we have not seen her with on our Days of Our Lives screens since she was a child.
Anna (Leann Hunley) is back to get revenge on (the maybe alive) Stefano for all he ever did to her and Tony DiMera, and actress Christie Clark calls it a “female empowerment” story, according to Glamour Magazine.
That’s right. Carrie is quite the woman of the world now, doing it all. She’s a high-powered attorney and a mother of a little boy.
But, this will be the first time both she and Austin will be in Salem without Sami, Carrie’s half-sister who had forever been a foil in Austin and Carrie’s relationship.
While the pair will be around for only six or seven episodes this time around, she hints about another return down the line–and can’t imagine how Sami (Alison Sweeney) could possibly stay away.
“I think there’s a huge chance [they’ll return with the baby],” Clark said. “They’ve never been in Salem without Sami, and it’s a different thing and it would be exciting to experience that.
