Ciara has been dead for literally weeks on Days of our Lives. That means it’s time to ask the question: Should Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) move on? We know, we know, in the real world, people rarely ask widowers if they’re dating yet the day before their wife’s memorial service when they don’t even have a body to bury.
But Salem isn’t your average place. People can have more than one love of a lifetime within a single year. Ben’s actually kind of behind. Would fans be open to a new romance for the serial killer turned heartthrob?
Ben is nowhere near ready to move on, 65% insist. More importantly, you are not ready for Ben to move on. It took a whole heck of a lot for you to forget and forgive Ben for what he did to Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn), not to mention the people he killed – Eve (Kassie DePaiva) certainly wasn’t moving on from her daughter’s death.
It shouldn’t take less time than that for you to get used to the idea of him moving on with another woman. Besides, we all know Ciara (Victoria Konefal) isn’t really dead. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) knows it, too. So he should just suffer quietly – and prettily – a little more. While he waits for the real love of his life to return.
Yup, he’s mourned long enough, a smaller 35% of the audience has decided for Ben. No more moping. It causes wrinkles. A face – and abs – like Ben’s shouldn’t be put under any stress. How about Claire (Isabel Durant), you suggest? Or Gwen (Emily O’Brien)? They can share wacky mental institution stories. Hey, Abigail could do that, too… Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
