Deimos has given new meaning to the word “heinous” since his Days of our Lives debut.

Upon arriving in Salem, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) has been a man on a mission: pay back Victor, the older brother who was single-handedly responsible for sending him to prison for a murder he didn’t commit. He wanted Victor (John Aniston) to suffer, like he suffered; and Deimos delivered. He stole Victor’s fortune, Titan Industries, and the Kiriakis mansion. He also poisoned Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), leading to her fall and paralysis, which caused Victor to have a heart attack over the stress of it all.

A Changed Man
After all of the above, can Deimos actually be redeemed? Of the nearly 3000 votes cast, 61% of you believe it’s a real possibility. You’re convinced that Victor’s baby brother has seen the error of his ways and realizes there’s nothing to gain from payback; it won’t erase the past. He’s appeared remorseful and tried to make amends with Victor and Justin. Plus, you feel his growing love for Nicole has shown that, deep down inside, he’s a man who actually has a heart.

A Leopard Doesn’t Change His Spots
A contingent of DAYS fans, 28% to be exact, aren’t buying Deimos’ “I’m sorry” act at all. They associate him with one thing–evil–and that’s not about to change anytime soon. Plus, no matter what Deimos says or does, they’ll never totally trust him.

Way Too Soon to Tell
A remaining 11% feel it’s too soon to weigh in on the question. Sure, Deimos talks a good game, but is he being sincere? He’s going to have to really prove himself, after everything he’s done, and that’s going to take time.
