Firestarter! Can Claire Ever Be Forgiven On Days of Our Lives?

Talk about a surprise twist! Claire was revealed as the person who set the fire at the cabin that almost killed Ciara. The Days of Our Lives shocker threw fans for a loop.

While they knew Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) has long been resentful and jealous of Ciara (Victoria Konafel), nobody ever suspected she’d resort to such dangerous means to eliminate the competition. Now that the secret’s out (to fans at least), DAYS devotees don’t know what to make of the character.

Over 14,000 fans cast their votes when Soap Hub asked if Claire could ever be forgiven for her fiery transgression.

She Needs Mental Help
Paging Dr. Marlena Evans, stat! The bulk of fans, some 63%, think Claire needs to schedule a session with her grandmother/shrink, pronto. The young woman is seriously disturbed to pull a stunt like this one. She needs mental counseling and lots of it.

No Way!
There’s absolutely no way Claire can be forgiven, say 26% of fans. She went too far in her rivalry with Ciara with this treacherous action, and it could have cost Ciara her life. Claire can’t simply apologize and expect to come back from something like this. There has to be repercussions for her actions.

Meanwhile, 10% of viewers believe Claire can be forgiven–and especially by Ciara. After all, Ciara has forgiven Ben for all of his misdeeds, which include three brutal murders. That’s a heck of a lot worse than anything Claire has ever done to anybody.
