Days of Our Lives star Martha Madison
While Martha Madison has been spotted on the Days of Our Lives set recently, there’s been no word that she’s taping scenes.
Madison herself last reported that she’s been off the DAYS set for months and her final shows air in September. And, it looks like the show found a way to write her out.
Spoilers indicate that Belle is heading off to China to do some work for a rejuvenated Chad. He’s taking his life back and wants to start with breathing new life into DiMera Enterprises. For such a core character who has been some of the only fresh life in Salem over the last 10 months, this seems like a pitiful ending indeed.
Belle’s intelligence, snark, and heart will be sorely missed, as will the talented Madison. While on-screen hubby (or ex-hubby, as the case may be) Brandon Beemer will stick around for another few months, but for now it looks like we need to bid farewell to Belle.
Look for Belle and Shawn to clash once more when she tells him about her China plans, and then look for Shawn to live forlornly and alone until Beemer exits Salem, as well. Both these exits will combine with the end of John-Paul Lavoisier’s run as Philip.
