WOW! Bryan Dattilo’s Psychic Dream Told Him Will Would Return!

Move over Celeste! Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) is Salem’s newest resident fortune teller!

The actor tells Soap Hub that he had a vision that Chandler Massey would return to Days of our Lives (DOOL) as Will — even though the character had been killed off by Batty Ben back in 2015!

“I actually saw [Chandler] at the Emmys last year,” Dattilo shares. “And I said to him, ‘Dude, I had a dream that we we worked together again. We were on set playing a great storyline, and we were both having a great time together — so don’t be surprised if your phone rings!'”

Dattilo shares that Massey didn’t think that his TV dad’s vision would come true.

“He’s like, ‘No way, man! It’ll never happen! It’ll never happen!'” The actor reminded his young co-star that many people who’ve left Salem “forever” have returned to DAYS.

“I said, ‘Dude, I know more than anybody there’s always a chance you might be back, so don’t be surprised if we work together again.'” He recalls that Massey’s response was skeptical, but also hopeful; he said, “Okay, I hope it happens!”

The actor is thrilled to have Massey back on the show once more. Not only does he regard him as a great actor, but also a great scene partner.

“[Chandler] doesn’t miss a beat,” Datillo raves of the three-time Emmy-winner. “As an actor, Chandler plays everything. He’s subtly effective, and he really lets the story be told.

“He doesn’t force anything, nothing’s driven down your throat. It’s great for me because sometimes I get ahead of myself, so Chandler keeps me grounded.”
