The actor reminded his TV son of his premonition when Massey recently returned to the DAYS set. “I said to him, ‘I told you I’m psychic!’ He said, ‘Dude, you are psychic! You have dreams that come true!'”
The actor is thrilled to have Massey back on the show once more. Not only does he regard him as a great actor, but also a great scene partner.
“[Chandler] doesn’t miss a beat,” Datillo raves of the three-time Emmy-winner. “As an actor, Chandler plays everything. He’s subtly effective, and he really lets the story be told.
“He doesn’t force anything, nothing’s driven down your throat. It’s great for me because sometimes I get ahead of myself, so Chandler keeps me grounded.”
