Sometimes it feels like Rafe has to try too hard with Hope on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). Yet with Sami, things seemed so easy. Could the universe be trying to tell him something?
With Hope (Kristian Alfonso), there was always the feeling like he wasn’t able to live up to the myth, the legend that was Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). In fact, it was a fight about just that which lead to Hope breaking off her engagement to Rafe (Galen Gering). And, that’s how all this trouble started in the first place.
It was during that break – with his heart completely broken – the Rafe ran into an equally-distraught Sami (Alison Sweeney), who thought she’d driven away Will (Chandler Massey) for good. The two sought comfort and slipped into each other’s arms. It was a familiar thing to do and it was easy when both felt so alone.
Soap Hub can’t help but wonder if it worked so easily for these two because maybe they’re the couple that is meant to be – and not Rope. So the question was posed and your answer was reasonably clear.
No Way
After over 4,000 votes were tallied, a full 64% believe that SAFE – Sami and Rafe – are definitely NOT meant to be.

They had their chance and they couldn’t get it right. Sami belongs with EJ (you just know that he’s still out there somewhere), and Rafe belongs with Hope.
Keep Them SAFE
For 36% of you, these two are definitely the way to go. They have fun together, they know each other’s buttons to push and which ones not to push, and they genuinely care for each other. She loosens him up, and he keeps her from going over the edge. They’re simply perfect together!
