Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney
Mega-popular Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Alison Sweeney is making her way back to Salem as the formidable Sami Brady.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Sweeney said this won’t be a blink and you miss her return like in 2015. Instead, the actress will be back for a few months.
“From my end, it takes a little bit of logistics with projects I’m working on,” she told Digest. “And unfortunately, this year’s been hard for me because of my knee injury, so I had to push some stuff back. So, I figured out a schedule, blocked out some time that I had available and we figured it out! I’ll be shooting in Salem in May and June.”
The actress used Instagram Live to talk about her return with her followers. She also asked her fans to help catch her up on the action in Salem since she’s been away for a while and would love to know what’s happened during her time away.
Sweeney spent more than 30 years as Samantha Brady on DAYS, becoming one of the most misunderstood manipulators in daytime history.
Her last return was in 2015 when Sami’s son Will died. You like won’t see the actress on screen until the end of this year, as DAYS tapes six months in advance.
