On Days Of Our Lives, Brady and Eve made it all the way to the altar…but not quite to the vows.
First, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) let Brady (Eric Martsolf) know that she’d figured out he was only using her to help Victor (John Aniston) get his family company back. Brady had to do handsprings to convince Eve that, yes, that’s how it started, but he really totes loved her now!
She eventually fell for his charms — again. Only for Brady to learn that Eve’s scheming against Teresa (Jen Lilley) is what cost him custody of Tate. Now, Eve is married to Jack (Matthew Ashford), and Brady is fending off Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) pretending to be Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Plus, he takes Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Is it time for ‘Brave’ to reunite? How over 8,000 viewers feel:
Hard Pass
No, thanks, a majority 88% of you dismiss. The Brady/Eve pairing never made much sense to you, and you don’t need another ride on that merry-go-round. Eve is more fun scheming against Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), and Brady…can do better.
It’s good to keep the subtext there, and maybe they can touch upon it if Theresa ever comes back. But, for now, let sleeping dogs — and failed couples — lie.
Take Two
Brady and Eve never got a fair shake the first time around, 12% of the audience disagrees. Sure, she cost him custody of Tate. But Eve wasn’t trying to hurt Brady — she was trying to help!
Surely, Brady understands good intentions going awry. He’s not exactly a saint. He’s screwed up in the past and expected to be forgiven. Turnabout is fair play suggests Brady should do the same for Eve.
We all know Jack will go back to Jennifer soon. Then both Eve and Brady will be available. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
