Those long locks that have been Alison Sweeney’s trademark, since her teen years on Days of Our Lives, look like a thing of the past.

The actress, who returns to the soap later this year (onscreen, as she already finished taping her scenes), debuted her new look on Facebook yesterday and it’s hard to believe this is the woman who grew up before our eyes in Salem.

However, her new shorter ‘do is perfect for her busy life as a working mom of two. Between parenting, writing, directing, and acting, wash-and-go hair is an ideal solution.
