Blind Ambition: How Days of our Lives Fans Feel About Kate’s Lying?

We admit it, Kate fooled us on Days of our Lives. When she first claimed to be blind, we bought it, hook, line, and seeing-eye dog. But Dr. Snyder was way ahead of us, and he tricked Kate into revealing that both the blindness and the amnesia were a plot to get Jake away from Gabi.

Nothing To See Here

Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) a liar, what else is new, 63% of you shrug. You’d be disappointed if she weren’t up to her old tricks. This is classic Kate, and while you may not love her motives or her methods, you’ve got to admit, it’s good to know yet another near-death experience hasn’t changed her character!

Funny Bones

A much smaller 24% of the audience thinks Kate’s con is hilarious – and just what Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) deserve. Now, we realize they’re not completely at fault.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) put on a Kate mask and broke up with Jake, who responded by jumping into bed with Gabi. So it’s not like he was cheating exactly. But also Gabi was chomping at the bit. So she jumped the gun. And now Kate gets to mess with her. And we get to giggle.

Where Is the Love?

A last-place 13% is not pleased with Kate’s behavior at all. How could she treat Jake like this, when he has done nothing but love her, and only turned to Gabi when he thought he’d lost her? Sure, Kate is upset. But take it out on Kristen. Track her down and stuff her in a trunk. We’d support that! Jake doesn’t deserve this, and you’re better than that.
