There is some exciting casting news to announce for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) as a couple of new faces show up in Salem, a beloved face returns, and another is contemplating sticking around.
First, the new faces happen to belong to a couple of adorable twins who made their debut today as Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa’s (Jen Lilley) son, Tate. Their names are Colin and Kyle Schroeder and you can see the welcome message on Twitter from their proud onscreen papa below.
According to Soaps.com, the beloved face returning belongs to Christie Clark as she brings Roman (Josh Taylor) and Anna’s (Leann Hunley) daughter Carrie back to Salem. It is unknown if Austin (whether it’s either Austin Peck or Patrick Muldoon) will be joining her.
Chances are Carrie will be returning to help get her mother out of trouble once again, which has been her pattern even since childhood. It’s been almost a year since we saw Carrie last. The length of this stay is also not known at this time.
Lastly, the face contemplating sticking around belongs to Drake Hogestyn (John). The actor tweeted (see below) a picture, inquiring whether or not fans think he should sign a contract to stick around.
Considering the spoiler that he’s the one poisoning Steve (Stephen Nichols), could the show be hedging their bets with a possible exit story? We hope not! Let us know what you think in the comments.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
