On Days Of Our Lives, Lani noticed that Rafe was no longer wearing his ring. That’s because he and Hope are, at best, taking a break, and at worst, admitting that the marriage isn’t working and maybe they should just call it quits.

Those two need to stay away from each other, 70% of the audience advises. All they do is fight and complain and make up. But not in a fun, hot, sexy, can’t wait to rip each other’s clothes off way. More in a dull, soporific, love the one you’re with, you don’t have any better options sort of way.
They’re not too bad apart. Hope is actually both flirty and authoritative with Ted (Gilles Marini). And Rafe and Lani (Sal Stowers) are… efficient. Baby David is still alive. That’s good.
So how about Hope and Rafe call it quits and move onto some other, more interesting pairings. Hey, maybe Sami (Alison Sweeney) can come back! Or Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) can get the heck out of Bayview and beat that kidnapping rap. It’s Salem, anything can happen. And anything would be better than this!

Good To the Last Drop
They’re great together, 30% of you beg to differ. They get each other, they respect each other, they complement each other. Rafe is a good stepdad to Ciara (Victoria Konafall), and he kept Hope from completely losing it over Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).
If those two aren’t together, bad things might happen. Remember Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove)? That’s what happens when Hope doesn’t stick with a nice guy like Rafe.
Rafe isn’t just the last stop between Hope and going too far on the job. He keeps her from making another terrible husband pick like Aiden.
