Betrayed! Was Rafe Right to Leave Hope and Help Sami on Days Of Our Lives?

On Days Of Our Lives, Hope begged Rafe to stay and work on their marriage, rather than jetting off to help Sami the minute she crooked her finger.

Oh, it wasn’t Sami (Allison Sweeney) Rafe was rushing off to rescue, it was Johnny – at Sami’s request. The little guy needs Rafe (Galen Garing), now that his bio dad, EJ, is a mute, crispy mummy.

But Rafe’s wife, Hope (Kristian Alfonso), is having problems of her own. She is just having the darndest time trying to railroad Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) back into prison – and away from Ciara (Victoria Konafal).

She could use some support. Plus, every time Hope thinks of Sami, she thinks of Rafe sleeping with Sami (when he and Hope were on a break).

Is Rafe doing the right thing, abandoning his wife? Almost 12,000 viewers chimed in!

What is wrong with you, man, 36% of you are wondering. Your wife or your ex? That should be a no-brainer. Hope needs you and Sami needs you? You pick Hope. If for no other reason than Sami has been around the bend for decades, no, Hope is still teetering on the edge. Hope, you can still save!

It’s a Tie
It would seem to be statistically impossible, but the exact same 31% of fans voted for both. “No, he’s a good friend and she should admire that,” and “He might be, but who cares – he was better with Sami.”

Which means that the vote is split on the whole Hope and Rafe are meant to be ship. They have their fans, no doubt, but the passionate following Hope enjoyed with Bo (Peter Reckell) is sorely lacking. Heck, some folks even preferred her with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) – pre-homicidal maniac stage, that is.

And it would seem that after Lucas and EJ, Sami and Rafe also have their fans!
