Kristen, Xander, Nicole Days of Our Lives
It was a shocking moment for Days of Our Lives viewers when they first saw Nicole reach for something on her neck before she ended ripping off a mask only to reveal — Kristen DiMera underneath! But so much more went into that moment than you may realize.
Actress Stacy Haiduk, who portrays Kristen, decided to share with fans exactly what goes into the process of becoming Nicole. (Well, other than turning the role over to Arianne Zucker, who then does her best Kristen impression.)
In a recent post on Instagram, Haiduk showed a series of images (which you can see below) that show her in the different stages of the process — complete with purple goo slathered all over her face!
“Crazy process before the mask of Nicole can be made! Lots of Fun!!!! #days #nbcdays” wrote the actress in the caption alongside various images. The picture of the penciled-on eyes, eyebrows, nose, and smile was a particularly hilarious touch — especially the thumbs-up signal she gave.
But the last image of the finished product had fans in awe. Many of the comments also gave praise to the actress for not only her performance but also dealing with what it must have felt like to have to sit through all of that. Many shared they’d have a panic attack having to sit through that!
Needless to say, the story has fans riveted to see what will happen next. And considering it’s Kristen who is pushing this story forward — viewers know that anything can happen!
