He’s cute and he’s sexy, but has JJ on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) gotten to be too nice for his own good? Or is he everything a Salem hero needs to be?
No matter which side you fall on, you have to admit that JJ (Casey Moss) has come a long way from the irresponsible druggy ways of his youth.
While Theresa (Jen Lilley) used to be a bad influence on him in the old days, their recent platonic reunion has brought out another side to him.
After ex-girlfriend Lani (Sal Stowers) lost her baby, and JJ was powerless to do anything to help her, he became determined to make sure Theresa didn’t lose hers.
That determination culminated in him taking responsibility for a bag of cocaine showing up at his apartment so Theresa wouldn’t be blamed and lose custody of Tate. But has he taken being noble too far? Soap Hub asked and here are your answers.
What Was He Thinking?!
After over 3,000 votes were counted, 77% say that yes, JJ has become way too noble for his own good. While you love his instincts to help others, at some point he has to think about himself and his own life.
Perhaps that’s the problem — JJ needs to get a life! If he had something to fight for, he might not be so quick to throw it away to help a woman who probably won’t even appreciate it.
Feeling His Horton Side
For the other 23%, you couldn’t be more proud of how far this young man has come and you love seeing him embrace that Horton side of him. While you hope that good things come his way, you’ve come to expect this sort of behavior of Jennifer’s son.
After all, he not only joined the police force, he left to be become an EMT so he could only help people — and not risk hurting anyone he is trying to protect. You commend him and can’t wait to see what’s next for JJ.
