Today, Salem and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans alike say goodbye to Nicole Walker and Arianne Zucker, a beloved character and actress since she first appeared on the show back in 1998.
It turns out we aren’t the only ones anxiously waiting to watch the episode. Zucker herself posted to Twitter (see below) her thoughts for today about watching her final airing.
In fact, the actress wrote that she hopes to live tweet with fans as everyone views it together, but since she’s filming a new project, she might not be able to do it.
Either way, be sure to have a box of tissues handy as Nicole leaves Salem thanks to Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) demand that he never see her face again. Brokenhearted after he found out that she cheated on him with his stepbrother, Eric (Greg Vaughan), something in Brady snapped.
He insisted that Nicole break up with Eric, take Holly (at least he’s letting her keep her daughter), and leave town or else he’ll go to the police with the recording he made of her admitting she killed Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).
It’s a safe bet that as Nicole takes a last look at Salem, tears will be flowing — from her — and us viewers.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
