A blind item on the Jason47 DAYS website claims yet another actor and character is returning to the Days of Our Lives canvas in 2017. The only hint given is that this performer has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy.

Many fans began speculating Chandler Massey immediately, but one reader pointed out he’s a winner, not just a nominee. The site owner than responded that you first have to be a nominee to be a winner, so does that mean we can’t rule Massey out?

Earlier this year, Massey’s former manager began dropping hints on Facebook that the actor might return, but nothing ever came of these hints.

Others speculate True O’Brien may return as Paige, remembering both Will and Paige were killed by The Necktie Killer. Could his victims still be alive? After all, we learn Orpheus is alive this week and we were sure we saw him die last week.

Of course, there are some other Emmy-nominated contenders out there, like Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami) and Kassie DePaiva (Eve), and at least those character are known to be alive out there.
