Chandler Massey is heading home to Days of Our Lives, the soap where he earned three Daytime Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Will Horton.

When last seen, Will (played by Guy Wilson) was being brutally murdered by The Necktie Killer. Of course, that doesn’t mean he can’t still be alive and well somewhere.

While DAYS is keeping mum about who Massey will be playing, our money is on Will.

Here are the seven things we can’t wait to see, when Massey resurfaces.

Daddy’s Girl
Could there be a more precious moment than watching Will reunited with his daughter, Arianna? The little girl believes her daddy is in heaven, and Will has not seen the darling child since she was a toddler. It’s bound to be a bona fide tearjerker.

Mother and Child Reunion
Sami (Alison Sweeney) was devastated when she learned Will had been killed. Seeing them come face to face would be magical. At first, Sami would stare at him in stunned disbelief; then, she’d be overwrought with emotion and run to give him a giant hug.

Hubby’s Home
Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will’s wedding day was filled with the promise of happily-ever-after.

Although the relationship hit the skids when Will cheated on his husband, Sonny never stopped loving him. The couple would finally get the chance to make amends. Then, Will would learn about Sonny’s rekindled romance with Paul.

Parents Reunited
Gabi (Camila Banus) was left a single parent when Will died. To have the man back who was her best friend and baby daddy would be a true miracle. She’d be overwhelmed with joyous tears at seeing Will alive and then have the honor of reintroducing him to Ari.

Son Rising
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Will were more than father and son. They were best friends. Resurrecting those relationships would be heartwarming. Lucas would, no doubt, give his son a big bear hug before filling him in on everything he’d missed over the past two years.

His Safe Haven
As Will’s most trusted confidante and the woman he first came out to about being gay, grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall) was the person he felt safest with. Will would be eager to talk to her about where he’s been and what happened to him, while Marlena could navigate him through rejoining his life in Salem.

The Other Man
The Will/Sonny/Paul triangle was one of DAYS’ most twisted as Sonny’s old boyfriend, Paul, had an affair with his husband. In the end, Will’s “death” paved the way for a Sonny and Paul reunion. Imagine Sonny’s shock when he sees Will alive and realizes his happy life is in jeopardy?
