After an 11-year absence, Mimi Lockhart is set to resurface soon on Days of Our Lives.

Belle’s childhood bestie had an adventurous run in Salem filled with pranks, pitfalls, and a whole lot of drama. Then she quietly slipped out of town in 2007 to go live with her younger brother, Connor, in Arizona.

Want to brush up on all things Mimi? Here are seven things to know about her.

That Girl
Although Fath is most closely associated with the character, she wasn’t the first actress to portray Mimi

Doren Fein originated the role, when she was hired as a recurring player. She aired for two episodes before being replaced by Fath, who took the quirky role and ran with it.

First Crush

Mimi’s first crush was Shawn Brady, her BFF Belle’s ultimate soulmate. One of her funniest and most memorable high school moments was getting down on her knees and begging Shawn to take her to their freshman year Last Blast Dance.

He agreed to be her date, but ended up escorting both her and Belle to the festivities.

Here Comes Trouble
Insecure Mimi turned into a troublemaker, when she grew jealous of Belle’s friendship with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). She collaborated with Jan to humiliate her, even posting naked pictures of Chloe online and displaying them in a slideshow at a high school dance.

Mimi and Jan ended up in hot water with the law. Their punishment included cleaning the school bathrooms for their entire senior year.

On the Streets
Mimi and the Lockharts went through their toughest time when they lost their family home and ended up living in a box on the street.

After discovering the clan was homeless, Mimi’s friends joined forces to remedy the situation and even volunteered to help Habit for Humanity (President Jimmy Carter’s organization) build a house for the family.

Mimi’s Men
Mimi had a high school romance with braniac Kevin Lambert, but they parted ways when he left for college. Her next boyfriend was Rex Brady (Eric Winter), but their relationship ended after he discovered Mimi had been pregnant and aborted their child without telling him.

Eventually, she hooked up with Shawn, who was on the rebound from Belle, and they married. However, Shawn and Belle found their way back to one another and Mimi found herself alone, again. She also dated Max Brady (Darin Brooks).

Kiriakis Heir
Somewhere out there is a child belonging to Mimi and Philip Kiriakis. The baby was “conceived” when Mimi and Shawn hired a surrogate to carry their child, but the mysterious “Gloved Hand” switched Shawn’s sperm sample with Philip’s to fertilize Mimi’s egg. When the truth came out, Mimi and Philip signed away their rights to the infant.

The Murdering Kind
Mimi was convicted of the attempted murder of Jan, after the two girls were arguing, Jan tripped, hit her head, and ended up in the hospital. Rex, along with Mimi’s brother Patrick (Brody Hutzler), found a video that proved it was an accident, and Mimi was cleared.

However, Mimi was responsible for another death: her father David. She accidentally killed the abusive Lockhart patriarch, then suppressed her memories of the ordeal. When David’s body was discovered, Bonnie (Judi Evans) spared her daughter by confessing to the crime and going to prison.
