Most Romantic Soap Opera Couples This Valentine’s Day

Romance is everything (or at least it should be) on soap operas, so Valentine’s Day makes your favorite couples really kick things up a notch.

This year is no exception, though some of the usual couples seem to be having a shaky go at it. That’s okay — others are picking up the slack and showing there’s still hope for everyone to have a special day.

The Young and the Restless
The usual go-to romantic couple, Cane and Lily, seem to be going through a rough patch, so it’s wonderful to see Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) picking up the slack as they take the first step in seeing if love can bloom from the ashes of great loss.

Elsewhere, Billy tries like crazy to make amends with Victoria but it’s understandable she’s a bit gun shy after the stunts he’s pulled.

General Hospital
Since they’re the new couple in town, Liz and Franco seem primed to carry the romance torch in Port Charles. But Griffin shows up to stir up Franco’s dark and jealous side.

So it’s up to Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) and their sweet love to be the dose of romance that the town so desperately needs. It looks like they may even take their relationship to the next level!

Days of Our Lives
Thank goodness for Patch and his love for Sweetness. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) are spending Valentine’s Day getting remarried, restoring our faith that love can win out in the end.

Also proving that love can win out are Rafe and Hope, who learns she is finally free to walk about the country out in the open again. Here’s hoping Chad and Gabi get that same news sometime soon.

The Bold and the Beautiful
No one can top Zende (Rome Flynn) for pulling out all the romantic stops to win back the love of his life, Nicole (Reign Edwards), and then giving her a fairytale wedding this Valentine’s Day.

It’s surely to be the event of the season! That romance will have to satisfy since other relationships look to be falling apart as Quinn and Ridge dance on the border of temptation, possibly ruining two couples.
