Charlotte Bellamy is a British actress who is best known for playing Laurel Thomas in Emmerdale, as well as playing Sue Taylor in EastEnders.

Who Is Charlotte Bellamy?
She was born and raised in Dover, Kent, England. She grew up interested in acting and attended Middlesex University, where she studied Performing Arts. She graduated in 1993 and made her TV debut just a few years later in the series A Touch of Frost.
Bellamy was first cast as Sue Taylor in EastEnders, a role she played for about a year. She was later cast as Laurel Thomas in Emmerdale in the very early 2000s and has been on the show ever since.
Bellamy has been nominated for a number of awards thanks to her work on television, and she won the British Soap Award for Best Actress in 2017. She’s just the second actress from Emmerdale to win that award. The first to do it was Lucy Pargeter, who won in 2019.
Along with acting in television shows, Bellamy has also voiced characters on a couple of different programs. She voiced the character of Carrie in Construction Site and she also voiced Buddy and Daisy Do-Right in the children’s series Dream Street.

She gave birth to her first child with her now-husband Mungo Denison, a son named Sunnie, on September 6, 2004. The couple then had their second son, Herbie, on April 25, 2007. Their third child, daughter Teddi, was born on October 19, 2009.
