But, getting back to soap opera basics, there are a few turns that would spice things up in the “World of Forrester” in the year ahead. Here are three moves The Bold and the Beautiful must make in 2021.
1. Liam Left Alone
Flip-flopping Liam (Scott Clifton) has long been the man in the middle between stepsisters Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle). He’s married both of them and has a daughter with each of them, too. His latest one-night stand with Steffy could be the thing that finally does him in — especially with a pregnancy no involved.
Hope will be horrified when she learns he cheated on her. And Steffy’s sure to be furious if the reveal ruins her budding relationship with Finn (Tanner Novlan). It would serve Liam right if both women ditched him, and he found himself out in the cold for a while. It would give him time to reflect and fully appreciate the two amazing women he lost.

2. The Katie Conundrum
Bill’s (Don Diamont) scandalous kiss with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) put two marriages in jeopardy. While Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has forgiven Brooke, Katie’s (Heather Tom) yet to deliver her verdict on her relationship with Bill.
Is Katie finally done with him, or is Bill finally ready to fully commit to her and forget her “Slut from the Valley” sister forever? A decision has to be made and, since there is a child involved, it would be nice if Bill manned up and became the husband and father Katie and Will deserve.
3. A Fab Five
The quadrangle between Zende (Delon de Metz), Zoe (Kiara Barnes), Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and Paris (Diamond White) is slowly taking form, as both Buckingham sisters seem smitten with Zende. However, there is a key player missing from the romantic mix – Zende’s estranged wife, Nicole.
Her return would totally up the ante in the storyline. Plus, viewers need to learn what happened to end Nicole and Zende’s marriage before he moves on. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
