After winning a Daytime Emmy for his role as Max Brady on Days of our Lives, but before returning to daytime as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Wyatt Spencer, Darin Brooks starred in a TV series titled Blue Mountain State. Now, he’s reuniting with castmates for a get-together.
Darin Brooks: Virtual Fan Get-Together
The reunion won’t be in person, but it’ll be the next best thing. While celebrities aren’t doing in-person meetings due to social distancing in light of the coronavirus pandemic, they can still reach out to their fans!
“The BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE Boys are back in town!!! (And for a good cause!!🙏),” Brooks posted on Instagram. “One day only!! I’m gonna be doing @virtucon_aaa MAY 17th with the BMS boys! Chatting about all things and doing some virtual autographs and a Q&A with the brobeanses!! 🙌
“I’m gonna be donating a portion of all proceeds to @feedingamerica for all that they’re doing right now!!!” Brooks adds. “So STAY HOME and COME ON OUT Sunday, May 17th say what’s up and have some laughs and some beers! 🍻🍺 Get your tickets today!! And wherever you are, Stay safe out there! Love you guys! GO GOATS!!! 🤙😎🤙😎.”
Blue Mountain State was created by Chris Romano (who starred on the show as Sammy Cacciatore) and Eric Falconer. The program told the story about a fictional university named (what else?) Blue Mountain State and its football team. Brooks starred as Alex Moran, Alan Ritchson (Smallville) as Thad Castle, Ed Marinaro (Hill Street Blues) as Coach Marty, and Sam Jones (Smallville) as Craig Shilo.
The series ran for three seasons and did a reunion movie, which aired in 2016. It was on the set of Blue Mountain State where Brooks met Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless), who later became his wife!
