Ronn Moss, who starred for 25 years on The Bold and the Beautiful as Ridge Forrester, still has a loyal following from the half-hour soap. He’s currently quarantined abroad but is still reaching out to his fans and entertaining them.
Ronn Moss: Music Man
While Ridge is a gifted designer, Moss is a talented musician. He was a member of the rock group Player, best known for their top hit Baby Come Back. Now, Moss has recorded another song, “Ordinary World,” with the help of some friends. The song was originally recorded by Duran Duran back in the 1980s but is so fitting for this time.
“During this time Quarantined in Belgium, I thought making this video was most fitting given the lyrics and the fact that we performed this in concert last summer,” says Moss, who tours with Ronn Moss’ Player. “I’m hoping we will all find the ‘Ordinary World’ we once held so dear. @alexcarrerimusic @eumori @gianmarco_trevisan @marcellosalcuni @pietro.pinodi @tiziano_cavaliere #ronnmoss #music #ordinaryworld #musicians #quarentine #quarantinelife😷 #meninblack #rocknroll.”
You can check out the music video below in Moss’ Instagram post. It’s been met with positive responses in the post’s comments section. “Oh my goodness that was so cool,” wrote @cmm112009. “Thank you for posting this!!!!!!!”
“That was amazing guys loved it 👏👏,” posted @jennyanastopoulos. Added @ottoemezzo_cashmere: “Love your voice Ronn and very beautiful song😍😍💙💙.”
Since exiting BB in 2012, Moss has stayed busy touring with his music, traveling internationally, and appearing in various projects. He has won three Daytime Emmys as a producer on The Bay, the daytime digital drama series on which he plays John Blackwell.
He’s also appeared on the TV series The Agency, the movie This Is Our Christmas, the TV movie Rossi & White. Fan-favorite Thorsten Kaye took over the role of Ridge following Moss’ exit. However, Moss can be seen on the show this week as BB is airing classic episodes as production has halted due to the coronavirus crisis. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
