Fans of Henry Joseph Samiri enjoy seeing him as Douglas, the adorable scene-stealer (“Baby Beth is alive!”) on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, they can catch the young actor in the primetime procedural 9-1-1: Lone Star!
Henry Joseph Samiri — New Opportunities
“Watch me on 911 LONE STAR tomorrow night on Fox!” read a post on Samari’s Instagram account. “Had a great time working opposite @roblowe! Thank you @coasttocoasttalent and @robinweinsteinloehr for these great opportunities.”
Arabella Grant, a new pal of Samiri’s, appears with him on the show. “So fun working with you!” Grant posted on her Instagram. Samiri replied: “So glad we became friends.”
No word on who Samiri will be playing, but he and Grant’s characters may (or may not) play siblings in need of a rescue, we’re surmising given the show’s theme.
A description for the episode, titled A Little Help from My Friends, reads that the rescue squad will attend to calls at an ice cream shop and help rescue a boy (Samiri, perhaps?) missing from his own birthday party! Also, T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos (Rafael L. Silva) take a big step in their relationship while Grace (Sierra Aylina McClain) learns to rely on others following a car accident.
9-1-1: Lone Star is a spinoff of 9-1-1. Both procedural dramas air on Fox. Lone Star is set in Austin, Texas (hence the show’s title as Texas is known as the “Lone Star” state.) The series was created by Ryan Murphy (Glee), Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.
The series stars Rob Lowe as Owen Strand. Previously, Owen was a firefighter captain in New York City. He lost his entire firehouse during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Owen was diagnosed with lung cancer, having been a first responder that day. He is T.K.’s father.
Don’t miss Samiri’s episode tonight. 9-1-1: Lone Star airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
