He’ll always be known to soap fans as R.J. Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, but now he has a new role to play!
Turpel, who appeared on BB from 2016 to 2018 as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) son, took to Instagram and shared that he’s part of the cast of the streaming series adaptation of the film Love, Simon. The series can be seen on the upcoming streaming series Disney Plus.
Per Deadline, actor Michael Cimino (Training Days) will play Victor in the half-hour series set to begin production later this month in Los Angeles. The series tells the journey of Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School.
He’ll seek the aid of Simon to help him get adjusted. Turpel will play Felix, who is described as Victor’s “lanky, awkward new neighbor.”
During the actor’s time on BB, his character, R.J., was paired with Coco, played by Courtney Grosbeck.
The two helped tell a social issue tale bringing awareness to the danger of texting while driving. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
