As ‘Dollar’ Bill Spencer’s right-hand man, Justin Barber has had to make some tough business calls on The Bold and the Beautiful, but he’s never been Scrooge-like. Now, Barber’s getting to tap into a Scrooge-ish character in the TV-movie London Mitchell’s Christmas.
A Different Side Of Aaron D. Spears
In this holiday film, Spears plays the title character, London Mitchell, a man who has lived his life in a not-so-scrupulous way. He’s divorced his wife, rarely sees his kids, and dumped a woman he was dating a month before Christmas to go and be with someone else!
London gets a big wakeup call when he’s diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, which prompts him to reconsider his approach to life as the Christmas holiday approaches.
The film, written by Christopher Nolen and Melinda Nolen, and directed by Christopher Nolen, premiered in December. It has future airings coming up on Aspire on Sunday, December 15 at 2 pm ET, Tuesday, December 24 at 6 pm ET, and Wednesday, December 25 at 10:30 a.m. ET.
The cast includes Lisa Wu (Mercedes Mitchell), Taja V. Simpson (Chantal Kennard), Tim Kyle Durrett (Dr. McArthur), LaToya Ward (Dr. Hampton), Thea Camara (Mama Mitchell), Lisa Yaro (Asha Campbell), Justin Sweat (Will Mitchell), Azza Brummer (Kelis Mitchell), and Jeff Jones (Papa Mitchell).
In the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge went to sleep on Christmas Eve and was visited by three ghosts/spirits representing Christmas Past, Present, and Future. He woke up a changed man. Will London also have an epiphany? And will his loved ones accept that he’s changed if he does? Tune in to find out! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
