The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, May 21, 2020, features the day Brooke became Mrs. Nick Marone. It was one of her least fabulous ceremonies but it changed her life forever, nonetheless. The show took fans back to July 7, 2006 when Brooke married her daughter’s man.

It’s was Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Nick’s (Jack Wagner) wedding day but it was not exactly happy. Nick was not pleased Brooke was almost baring all in the new FC ad and lost his temper. How could she? Well, it wasn’t her. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was trying to destroy their day and Brooke was not going to let that happen.
A Reluctant Groom
Either way, the scandal drove a wedge between the couple and Nick called off the wedding. Almost. He called it off, called it back on, and took Brooke to see the minister alone. They got married with just the two of them where they said the most unromantic vows ever. At least the aftermath was lovely. They sailed off into the sunset on Nick’s private yacht.

Missing Out On Love
Back at the bar, Bridget (Ashley Jones) worried about her mom. Would they? won’t they? It did not look good. Jackie (Lesley-Anne Down) even questioned if Bridget wanted the wedding to happen. Was it all too much? Bridget claimed she was over Nick but that was a lie. It was clear she wasn’t.
The ladies made their way to the gazebo just in time to see Nick and Brooke kiss for the first time as man and wife (given it was from afar). Bridget held it together fine and Jackie was thrilled to call Stephanie with the news.
Stephanie Was Big Mad
Stephanie was horrified. She tried her best to stop the wedding but it was for nothing. Poor Ridge (then-Ronn Moss) was beside himself. He took off his ring and tried to reconcile himself to a life without Brooke. Stephanie assured him Brooke would be back in his arms before too long. There was no way she would be happy with the likes of Nick. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
