The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for August 16 – August 20, 2021, feature pro and con arguments for conversing with a biological parent, and a divorce brought to a screeching halt. Keep reading to see what happenings you missed in L.A. last week.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Monday, August 16
With Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still concerned over Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) presence, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) chose to remain silent about their interaction via text….Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn debated the merits of coming clean about their relationship.
He’s all for being upfront and honest with the Forresters; she’s not convinced that honesty is the best policy – not with Carter’s job and his relationship with the family on the line…..Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) offered to be a sounding board for Finn….Quinn joined Eric Forrester (John McCook) at the Forrester estate, intent on signing their divorce papers. He surprises her with a plea for reconciliation.
Bold and Beautiful Recaps: Tuesday, August 17
Quinn was dumbfounded by Eric’s sudden change of heart. He admitted that Sheila’s sudden appearance has spurred him into taking a long hard look at the actions he undertook during their marriage. Eric rips up the divorce papers then attempts to convince Quinn to return to the mansion post-haste; she shares the development with Carter.
Paris and Finn bond over their shared desire to have a relationship with a parent who’s committed unsavory acts. Finn confided that Sheila reached out to him and that he’s chosen not to tell Steffy; Paris agreed to keep mum where the subject is concerned.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy discussed the latter’s fear that Sheila will attempt to insinuate herself into her and Finn’s life. Ridge promised to do everything in his power to keep Steffy’s family safe; he then nostalgically recalls his own biological father, Massimo Marone, coming into his life. Talk returns to the subject of Sheila; Steffy insisted that Finn understood the danger that she posed.
B&B Recaps: Wednesday, August 18
Quinn gave returning to Eric serious consideration; Carter encouraged her to follow her heart. Eric phoned Carter and asked him to return Quinn’s portrait….Paris decided to forgo an outing with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), and instead stay close to Finn; she agrees not to say anything to Steffy in regards to Finn and Sheila’s text chain….Ridge and Steffy continued to discuss their Sheila-related fears. They both agree that Steffy should post security guards outside of the cliff house.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Thursday, August 19
Despite exchanging, I love yous with Carter, Quinn returned to Eric….Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and his wife, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), joined Finn, Steffy, and Ridge at the cliff-top house. Jack apologized, again, for Sheila’s interruption of Finn and Steffy’s wedding. Ridge and Steffy warn Jack and Li against having any contact with Sheila….Carter re-installed Quinn’s portrait above the mantlepiece; he and Quinn have an awkward cross….Sheila privately vowed that she’d see to it that the Forresters fail in their attempt to keep her from Finn and Hayes.
B&B Recaps: Friday, August 20
Jack demanded that Sheila leave town, in order to spare Finn any pain; she rejects the idea. They then discussed the fact that Jack is actually Finn’s biological father….Finn and Steffy’s romantic evening gave way to a discussion about Sheila; Steffy asked Finn to never have any contact with his birth mother….Eric serenaded Quinn with “Always.” He later feigns sleep to avoid sharing the marital bed.
