The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, June 29, 2020, flashed back to Wyatt and Hope’s impromptu wedding from August 13, 2014. Wyatt wasted no time putting a ring on her finger and making her a wife.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
As far as Hope (then-Kim Matula) knew, Liam (Scott Clifton) abandoned her in Paris. What she didn’t know, is Quinn (Rena Sofer) made that happen. She pushed Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) into the river forcing Liam to save her and not show up at the Eiffel Tower.
Not Just Second Best
The good news is, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) was right there to play second best. He presented Hope with the coveted diamond and asked her to be his bride. At first, she wasn’t sure, but why not? If she couldn’t have Liam, at least she’d have his brother.
The couple wed on Bill’s yacht and took a leap of faith into the water below. They were treading water when announced husband and wife.
In LA, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) worried about their daughter, especially when they got word her wedding was taking place. Hearing she was going to become Mrs. Wyatt Spencer was a shock to their system.
A Heartbreaking Reality
Meanwhile, Liam and Ivy tried over and over to get a hold of Hope. They were still in Paris trying to track her down and Liam was worried sick. He could just imagine Hope standing there waiting and having all her dreams crushed. Oh, if there was only a way to find her! There wasn’t and he was lost.
It was also a shock to Bill (Don Diamont). But hey, at least one of his sons was happy. It was Bill who placed the calls to everyone, including the one to Liam. Poor Liam fell apart in front of Ivy’s eyes when he heard his father say the words. He truly thought he lost Hope forever. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
