The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, July 9 features a day of fury and anger over Thomas’s machinations. Everyone is nearing their breaking point and one man decided it’s time for Thomas to go down once and for all!
Motherly Advice
New of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope’s (Annika Noelle) sudden engagement spread like wildfire through the LA crowd. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was appalled and tried to talk sense into her daughter. Unfortunately, nothing she said made any difference.
Congrats, I Guess
Thomas spent his morning bragging to his dad. He and Douglas will finally have a real family again. Hope is the exactly right woman for him and he can’t wait to start their lives together. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) did not want to seem unsupportive so he congratulated his son.
Thomas then called Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who was rendered speechless. She managed to offer up congrats but did not know what else to say. Liam (Scott Clifton) did, though. He was furious and headed straight for the cottage.
Liam Begged and Pleaded
Once there, he tried to talk sense into Hope. She loves him and he loves her and she will never love Thomas. He begged her to not throw her life away because of his night with Steffy or the loss of their daughter.

Hope stopped Liam in his tracks. She had not been able to feel since their daughter died and if giving Douglas a mom is all she can do, then she’s going to do it.
Justice Must Be Served
Over in the design office, Xander (Adain Bradley) told Zoe (Kiara Barnes) what she found on Thomas’s GPS. It all but confirmed he killed Emma. And, even if he did not kill her he knew about the accident and did nothing to help her, which is just as bad.
Much to Xander’s horror, Zoe defended Thomas, not once, not twice, but every time she opened her mouth. He had angry tears running down his face when he realized he was in this alone.
Someone has to take down Thomas and he decided that the burden was on his shoulders. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
