The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 8, 2021, featured Hope Logan Spencer racing against time to save Thomas Forrester. All while he was spilling the shocking truth about his best friend, Vinny Walker.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) continued his downward spiral. Thomas tried to barter for his freedom but it only made things worse. Justin got closer to the edge of sanity and lost his temper. Luckily, a call saved Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) from any more fury.
Ridge Forrester and Justin Barber Faced Off
The call came from Wyatt (Darin Brooks). He was in the main office with a raging Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). The dressmaker told Wyatt all about Thomas’s absence and Justin hanging onto the phone. This just isn’t like Thomas Forrester. He ran out on his son, isn’t around to help Hope, and even missed the birth of baby Hayes.
Wyatt was thrilled to hear about the baby and admitted Thomas staying away set off alarm bells. Plus, why would he run out of town without coming to get his cell?
Justin got quite the earful when he walked into the room. Ridge laid into him and demanded to know where Thomas was. Justin played dumb but Ridge was not having it.

Hope Logan Spencer Tried to Play Hero
Downstairs, all hell was breaking loose. Hope (Annika Noelle) used her purse to jam the door and came to Thomas’s rescue. She realized his cell was locked (duh) and began hunting for the key.
Thomas decided now was a good time to spill the truth about Vinny – you know, just in case the worst happened. He told Hope about the texts, the video, and the suicide. Vinny was at fault for the whole crash. Hope was horrified.
B&B Recap: Liam Hoped for Better Days
Meanwhile, over at the prison, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thought about everything he was leaving behind. He flashed back to some of the most important moments of his life. He prayed that the truth would come out and he would get to go home.
