The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 22, 2019, features an explosive day in LA. Douglas was reunited with his dad but things went off the rails fast. The little boy felt his father’s wrath when Thomas severely unraveled.
Moving Forward
Hope (Annika Noelle) sat Liam (Scott Clifton) down for a bit of a tough talk. She’s getting rid of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) but she refused to throw away her relationship with Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). In fact, she asked Liam how he felt about the little boy moving in, especially if Thomas ends up in jail.
Before they could talk it out, they had to worry about their own little girl. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) still had all the baby’s things and asked to not be home when the couple came by to pack them up. Hope headed over to the cliff house to get started.
A Misguided Misstep
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) also worried about Douglas’s future. Thomas still was not answering their calls and it sounds like he’s in big trouble. At the very least, Thomas needs to get some serious help. Until they find him they have to do what’s best for his son. And, right now, that meant sending him to the zoo with Amelia. Big mistake!

Bad Nanny!
No sooner did the nanny and the little boy leave than Thomas gave them a call. He sent Amelia (Nicola Posener) the address and asked her to bring by Douglas. She took him straight over and gave the father and son some time alone. Another huge mistake!
Boy Interrupted
Poor Douglas became Thomas’s newest target. Thomas pretended to be a nice guy while he pried for information. Then, once he realized Liam was back with Hope he went wild.
Sweet Douglas felt his father’s wrath as Thomas screamed at him and scorned him for ruining their lives. It was a horrifying display that proved Thomas is off his rocker. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
