The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, May 23 featured the groundwork for two new (rekindled) romances. Steffy is back and Thomas plans to use her return for all it’s worth.
Steffy’s Home!
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes) and the girls were back from their trip and she got right back into the swing of life in LA. She and Liam (Scott Clifton) spent the afternoon with the kids and then he dropped the bomb on her. His marriage to Hope is over.
Steffy took the news in stride. She told Liam he would always have a home with the kids but did not exactly invite him back into her life. In fact, she pushed Liam to try to fix his marriage before giving up.
A Mother’s Love
Sadly, there doesn’t seem much Liam could do. While he was with Steffy, Hope (Annika Noelle) was breaking the news to her mom.
Brooke tried to talk her daughter out of taking such drastic measures but her efforts went in one ear and out the other. Hope’s mind is made up and there is no going back now.

Fatherly Advice
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) also tried to dole out the right advice. He took on his troubled son and tried to set him straight. Hope may want what’s best for the kids but that does not mean she will fall for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). He’s playing with fire and about to get burned.
However, Thomas did what he does best and continued to manipulate the situation. Everyone knows Liam is better off with the girls so they all need to stand back and let the pieces fall into place. Soon, everything will be right in all their worlds.
