The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, October 12 features a day of unbelievable reveals that turned lives upside down.
A Happy Mama
Quinn (Rena Sofer) pulled a fast one on Wyatt (Darin Brooks) when he told her about his new job.
Instead of jumping for joy, she gave him quite the scare pretending to flip her lid. Of course, it was all a ruse because there’s nothing Quinn likes better than having her son by her side.
Being in close quarters with mom sounds fun but Wyatt knows what Quinn is like and put her on notice. There’s no room here for clinginess, and he begged Quinn to keep herself in check. No meddling, no overstepping, and no undermining his new relationship.
A Sad Reality
Over in the design office, Katie (Heather Tom) tried to wrap her head around Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) scheme.
Going to the judge is the worst thing anyone in her camp could do and now she’s not sure how to handle it. Telling Bill (Don Diamont) will surely lead to disaster. But there may be a way to make things right.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) implored Katie to relent on her sole custody rules. Bill wants more time with his son and deserves it. In fact, if Ridge hadn’t injected himself in the case, Bill probably would have gotten his way anyway.

The Showdown!
Unfortunately, Brooke went one step too far and Katie saw right through her sister. Brooke’s been a backstabber through this entire ordeal and it looks like there’s no end in sight. Not only is the Logan sister still on Bill’s side but she laid on the guilt a little too thick.
Katie isn’t the only one Brooke’s hurt. She was in for quite the shakedown when she returned to the main office.
Ridge was there waiting to confront his wife right then and there. Brooke tried to distract from her faults by throwing Ridge’s actions in his face but it didn’t work. He was trying to protect her family while she has destroyed their marriage.
A Father’s Pride
Meanwhile, Bill made big plans for all his visits with Will. If his time has to be limited, he needs to make the best of it. All he wants is to show Will he’s serious about being a dad and have the most fun they can while he works his way back into everyone’s good graces.
Luckily, Will’s on board and demanded to see his father and they spent the afternoon bonding.
