The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 28 features a day of serious wake up calls for Hope, Bill, and Katie.
Hope’s Bubble Bursts
Hope was (Annika Noelle) on cloud nine when she gets a call from the doctor pushing up her ultrasound date.
In just a few hours she and Liam (Scott Clifton) were set to get their first glimpse of their tiny bundle. However, her excitement waned when she has to track him down at Steffy’s house to tell him.
Steffy Shines
To Steffy’s credit, she took the whole situation in stride and even offers up some loving advice to her ex’s blushing bride. In fact, she was as cool as a cucumber and insisted they keep their lines of communication open so they don’t turn into their mothers.
It was all quite surreal for Liam, though. He was standing in the home of the woman he once called “the love of his life” discussing his future with his current wife. He was also in awe of Steffy’s newfound power, love, and maturity.
Tempers Flare
Over at Katie’s (Heather Tom) house, things weren’t going as smoothly. She, Bill (Don Diamont), and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) ended up having a full-on screaming match over whether or not Will should even see his dad.

Katie has given Bill chance after chance to be a great dad and he’s failed at every turn. Enough is enough and she won’t put up with it anymore.
Sadly, little Will overheard the entire awful scene. The poor kid internalized his parent’s battle and outright asked his daddy if he did something wrong. Bill did his best to appease Will’s worries but it wasn’t enough.
Will decided to opt out of a night of fun with dad to stay where he feels safe – at home with mom.
Overstepping At It’s Finest!
Afterwards, Thorne called Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) for a secret meeting to discuss the whole ordeal. Without Katie there (or even knowing) he pushed for his legal eagle to get the paperwork ready for sole custody!
