The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, September 4 features relief for Hope, as well as rising tension between Bill and Thorne.
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) got their miracle when Dr. Phillips (Robin Givens) finally found their baby’s heartbeat. Their little one is okay, and the doc chalks it up to normal pregnancy pains.
Hearing the news brought smiles all around for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who were all sick with worry.
It showed Steffy just how important this budding family is and she headed over to the cabin to see the newlyweds.
Steffy showed nothing but support for Hope as she sat with her and listened to all Hope’s concerns.
Yes, the baby is okay but Hope worried the worst isn’t over. Steffy held her hand, gave her a hug, and urged her to concentrate on the good. She and her child are alive and healthy and she’ll soon hold the baby in her arms.
Back at the office, Brooke and Ridge discussed how caring Steffy has become. Brooke had to admit Steffy’s new attitude is impressive and she’s glad the women are doing better than she and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) ever did.

The younger women are righting their wrongs, and it looks like they can all have a bright future after all.
Katie (Heather Tom) and Thorne’s (Ingo Rademacher) intimate afternoon came to an abrupt end when Will called to come home. She left Thorne to hold down the fort, which turned out to be a massive mistake.
Bill’s on the warpath, and after a chat with Justin (Aaron D. Spears) about the custody case, he was raging all the more. He headed over to Katie’s to spend time with his son but found Thorne there alone instead. Fireworks went off with each man slinging mud.
Bill reminded Thorne he’s barely anything to Katie (yet) and absolutely nothing to his son and warned him to back off.
But, Thorne wasn’t having it. He’s here to stay as long as Katie will have him and puts Bill on notice that he has every intention of being a big part of Will’s life.
