The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 8, 2019, featured a heartbreaking day for two LA mothers. Hope was overjoyed her daughter was alive but she had the daunting task of breaking the news to Steffy.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) came home and her radar immediately went up. Not only was Hope (Annika Noelle) holding Phoebe in an oddly maternal way but the events of the day had alarm bells ringing in her head. She began to panic and asked what was going on. By the end of the day, she would regret ever wanting to know.
Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton) slowly and gently let the story leak out. They told her Flo confessed to not being the birth mom, the doctor stealing a child, the paperwork being forged, and the doctor using Taylor.
Then, they dropped bigger bombs. Two people on Steffy’s staff knew. Flo’s mom was aware, and Thomas also found out the truth. It was a harsh reality but nothing could prepare her for the ultimate explosive reveal – Phoebe truly is baby Beth!

Meanwhile, back at the main office, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) had enough of the lies and excuses and picked up the phone to call the cops. Flo (Katrina Bowden) needs to pay and so does everyone else who helped Buckingham pull off this disgusting kidnapping plot.
In a shocking twist, it was Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) who stopped Ridge in his tracks. Think of the publicity! They can’t put their Hope through that. She deserves peace while they transition the baby from one mother to the other.
Shauna (Denise Richard) breathed a sigh of relief for her daughter but it did not last long. Ridge and Brooke demanded all three women’s ID’s so they can’t go on the run while they figure out their next steps. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
