The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, September 17 features Bill getting turned down and Thorne getting the answer he wanted.
No Love For Bill!
Bill’s (Don Diamont) seductive kiss crossed the line for Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and she promptly put her ex in his place.
She’s a married woman, and while she and Ridge may have their issues, she loves him and is dedicated to her marriage. She won’t let Bill ruin the life she has again.
However, she did agree to continue helping Bill get through to Katie. She sees the errors of her sister’s ways and is determined to get through to her before it’s too late.
Katie (Heather Tom) also laid down the law with Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) and put her foot down with her boyfriend about that engagement ring of his.
She loves her life right now – especially with Thorne in it but she won’t walk down the aisle just to save face in front of a judge.
Always the charmer, Thorne did his best to soothe Katie’s fear. He wouldn’t ask her to take this leap without being in love. He’s happier with Katie than he ever thought possible.
Those were just the words Katie needed to say yes.

A Cause to Celebrate
Over at the FC office, Eric (John McCook) popped in for a meeting with sons to go over the numbers and was surprised to learn Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) plays hooky more often than not.
He was even more stunned to learn it was to be with his next door neighbor. But, the biggest shock came when he and Ridge tried to call Ridge into work.
Thorne knocked everyone’s socks off by telling everyone Katie will soon be his bride. The engagement gave his father and brother a reason to celebrate but there was one person who wasn’t happy to hear the news – Brooke.
A Cause For Concern
Brooke’s attitude wasn’t lost on Ridge and he demanded answers. Brooke thinks the engagement is really just a ploy to steal Will from Bill and she can’t support those kinds of shenanigans.
Hearing this sent Ridge over the edge. Bill is nothing but trouble and his wife feeding into her ex’s drama will only destroy them in the end. Unfortunately, Bill was already texting Brooke again while they were fighting.
