The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, November 16 featured a heartfelt plea, family members picking sides, and Ridge issuing a warning.
A New Attitude
Not only does Bill have a new nice-guy persona, but he’s also gained perspective about his past. Or, so he says. He went over some of his shocking misdeeds with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), admitted regret, and chalked it up to self-sabotage. He didn’t love himself then, but he loves himself now.

Bill impressed Brooke with his speech. His words showed a depth she didn’t see back in the day. He was cold hearted when they were together, and it broke her heart every day. However, this new Bill is looking better and better by the minute.
Is this change big enough to win her back? Maybe not yet, but it’s clear she’s starting to break.
Katie Spilled All
Over at the Spencer office, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) were in for a shock when they learned exactly why their dad lost custody. Katie (Heather Tom) told them all the dirty details but demanded they keep the secret safe. Ridge’s freedom is on the line and if their father decided to spare him, so can they.
Tempers Ran Hot
The brothers agreed not to call the cops but that didn’t stop them from drilling Ridge the second he walked through the door. Tampering with the case is all kinds of wrong and they wanted to know what he’s going to do to make it right.
Even Katie stepped in to pile on. Bill has a history, as they all do, but keeping Ridge out of jail proves he’s trying to make a better life. They should all be thankful he’s seen the error of his ways and is ready to move forward into a brighter future.
It should come as no surprise Ridge defended himself by insulting Bill with every breath. Believing Spencer is a changed man is just plain wrong. He sees right through this whole charade. It’s another ploy for Bill to steal his wife and if he does (or, once he does) everyone will see he’s right.
There’s just one hole in Ridge’s theory, Liam pointed out. If Bill really wanted Brooke, it might be easier to get her if Ridge was behind bars?
