Sally’s Checking Out
A new line, a new life, and a new future are great but Sally needed a bit more time before getting started. She shocked Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Eric (John McCook) when she told them she was taking off for a little while. She needed to see her Gram before life got too busy.
The announcement was music to Quinn’s ears. It is no secret she is not a fan of her son’s girlfriend — especially with Flo in LA.
Ancestry Story
Meanwhile, Flo (Katrina Bowden) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) stopped by a store to pick up a paternity test. It seemed so simple – send a sample and get the results. And, with any luck, her dad or his family would be in the system. So, why was it so hard to do?
Flo admitted she is terrified to find her dad. There must be a reason her mother kept him a secret and banned him from their lives. She decided to call Shauna (Denise Richards) to give her a heads up.

To say Shauna was not pleased is an understatement. She warned Flo to drop it and leave well enough alone but Flo outright said no. It is time for the truth to come out once and for all.
Old Feelings Surface
Over at the Logan estate, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) explained to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) how thankful he was for Hope. She’s been the light of Douglas’s life and he could not imagine his son healing without her.
He later told Hope the same thing after finding Douglas hanging at the cabin. She is good for his son and even soothing for him. It was the reason he fell in love with her all those years ago.
