The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 30 features the struggles of broken homes.
Not So Picture Perfect!
On the surface, it looks like all of Hope’s (Annika Noelle) dreams are coming true. Her HFTF line is moving forward (with the help of some gorgeous designs by Thorne), she’s married to the man of her dreams, and she has a child on the way. Things couldn’t be better — well, right now anyway.
Even things with Steffy have calmed down. She stopped in to see the couple to show her support, asked to see the ultrasound photo, and gushed over the newest Spencer baby.
Unfortunately, everyone’s happiness came to an abrupt end when the sitter called with terrible news. Baby Kelly’s running a fever and it doesn’t look good. The parents ran for the door leaving Hope to turn to Brooke for support.
Thankfully, all was well with the baby but the news didn’t send Liam running home. Instead, he stayed by Kelly’s side and promised to always be there for her.
Balancing Act
Speaking of shock, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) rocked the boat in the main office when she took Bill’s side in the custody battle.

Bill may be a lot of things, but he loves his youngest son more than life itself. In fact, Bill’s been more hands-on with Will than most of the men she knows. He stepped up to the plate when Katie was spiraling out of control.
The War Heats up
Brooke isn’t the only one who sees it that way. Bill himself threw that tidbit in Katie’s face when he showed up for an impromptu visit with Will. His temper ran red hot when he saw Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) there and realized what was going on.
This whole ordeal has taken a lot out of Katie but seeing Will meltdown around his dad is a breaking point. She’s ready to fight and will do whatever it takes to protect her son. But, she knows she’s going up against a titan.
He’s already warned Katie he would destroy her in court and he sure means it.
